Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a temporary full-time Ultrasound Tech to work with our Diagnostic Imaging Department. Under the direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all ultrasound activities at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Ultrasound Technologists ensure the quality of services rendered is acceptable. Confirms orders, documents, medical necessity, and pre-authorization on all ultrasound orders. Provides care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directed. Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Junior College/Technical School required, Bachelor's Degree required. - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers ( ARDMS ) Certification required - American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT ) Certification in Radiology and/or Sonography preferred. - WV Medical Imagining License preferred . - AHA BLA required. - One year of position related experience preferred..
