Location: Lufkin Corps, Lufkin, TX Position Type: Custodian/Truck Driver About this opportunity: Under the direction of the Corps Officers and the Family Store Manager, drives Salvation Army owned vehicle loading and unloading routine pickups and/or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise, to serve production needs of the store and/ or general operation of corps; provides a variety of cleaning duties and maintains the building to ensure the upkeep, neatness, and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis. Key responsibilities: - Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies. - Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors; sweeps sidewalks. - Drives Salvation Army truck along scheduled route to pick-up donations and/or delivery merchandise to customers. - Reviews scheduled pick-ups to ensure they are scheduled for the correct day of the week and geographical location. What we are looking for in you: - High school diploma or G.E.D - Six months experience driving a box truck and performing general janitorial and/or general maintenance duties. - Valid State Driver’s License Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendanc...
