POSITION SUMMARY: Part-time firefighter under the direction of the shift captain, firefighters/driver operators perform structural and ARFF firefighting related functions as well as other duties as assigned.at Holston Army Ammunition Plant located at Kingsport, TN. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Respond to a variety of fire emergencies, including commercial structures, industrial processing facilities, and situations involving energetic materials. - Investigate and respond to fire alarms, including sprinkler activations and deluge system activations. - Respond to and mitigate hazardous material incidents as part of our hazmat team. - Responding to medical emergencies. - Respond to emergencies involving energetic materials, ensuring safety and mitigation. - Conduct technical rescues, including confined space, high-angle, or other specialized rescue scenarios. Conduct fire inspections. QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 18 years of age - US Citizen - GED or High School Diploma - Valid drivers' license and driving history acceptable to the customer - Ability to pass a background check acceptable to customer - Ability to pass pre-employment Firefighter/DOT physical, Drug Screen, and Physical Ability Test...
