Commercial Multi Line Manager – Ireland

Job description

The primary purpose of this role is the management and leadership of the Irish Commercial underwriting team. Working closely with the Commercial Insurance Manager, you will set the vision and plan, build, and support the day-to-day needs of the team, plus play an active part in supporting the talent and development needs of underwriters. You will report to the Commercial Insurance Manager for Ireland, working closely with distribution to deliver on key performance indicators. Any candidate should have an underwriting background and be capable of holding high levels of underwriting authority in at least one core line of business. You should also be interested in and capable of operating with understanding and influence across other line of business. This new role will focus on new business growth and renewal retention across Property and Casualty Package lines. You will obtain and analyse account-specific information and ensures accuracy of risk report, utilising our internal systems and develops information and recommendations based on the account analysis.
