Job Title: Coffee Engineer Reports To: Facilities Manager: Location: Field base: Contract Type: Full-time: Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Sunday Salary Range: £40,000: Job Purpose: The Coffee Engineer is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and optimising coffee brewing and production equipment, ensuring exceptional product quality, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency. The role includes technical support, quality assurance, staff training, and continuous improvement across all relevant sites. Knowledge of La Cimbali, WMF, and Franke machines is essential. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Management & Maintenance: Install, service, and repair coffee machines and brewing equipment, including La Cimbali, WMF, and Franke. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults. Maintain accurate service logs and technical documentation. Manage spare parts and on-hand stock levels. Quality Assurance: Ensure all coffee output meets company quality and consistency standards. Perform calibration, extraction testing, and quality checks.
