Department: 38713 Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - Clinic: Bhorade Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: This is a M-F position. Hours 0730-1600. This position will be primarily in the physician clinic but will also need to float within the cancer center to cover staffing needs in radiation and the infusion center. This position is also required to draw labs if needed. Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35 Major Responsibilities: - Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care. - Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.). - Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered. - Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking.
