Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: The Hospice Account Executive is responsible for driving hospice service sales within a designated market, focusing on facility and physician admissions. The role involves building relationships with referral sources, managing territory sales, and ensuring efficient patient referrals and transitions to hospice care. This position may also involve promoting hospice services. Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales targets by developing and managing accounts within the assigned territory. Build and maintain relationships with facility staff (discharge planning, nursing, medical teams) to promote hospice services and facilitate referrals. Screen and complete referrals to ensure patient eligibility and compliance with regulations. Participate in sales meetings to discuss activities, opportunities, and challenges. Cross-sell related services (Hospice, Palliative) as appropriate. Ensure accurate and timely referral information for billing. Collaborate in case conferences with healthcare team members as needed.
