Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a client service culture and under general supervision acts as a member of an integrated medical device reprocessing team by performing duties such as cleaning and sorting instruments, linen and equipment utilized for patient care and delivering to appropriate areas. In addition performs related clerical functions such as maintaining records, answering telephones, and filing. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Grade 10 plus one year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
