Deadline Date: Wednesday 3 June 2026 Requirement Title: Chief Technician (Transmission Systems/Power Equipment) Location: Lughezzano, Italy: Full time on-site: Yes: Total Scope of the request (hours): 836 Required Start Date: 9 July 2026 End Contract Date: 31 December 2026 Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret: Specific Working Conditions: SatCom site: Duties and Role: - Operates and performs unit level troubleshooting and maintenance of the assigned microwave radio equipment and associated ancillary equipment, like multiplexers, channel banks, interface/adapter devices. - Manages detailed testing procedures to localize and diagnose causes of equipment malfunction or failure. - Troubleshoots and restores repaired microwave radio equipment to ensure channel and link parameters are met. - Carry out other duties as directed. Requirements: - Basic knowledge on the microwave systems, wave guides and parabolic antennas. - Basic knowledge on Digital Line of sight (DLOS) systems. - Basic knowledge on the TCP/IP protocol and IP management concepts. - Minimum three years related professional experience on radio frequency communications systems. - Basic knowledge on Data Communications con...
