Salary £36,363 - £40,777 per annum | 37 hours per week | Permanent, Full time | Assistant Engineer, Development Control, Highways Role: Grade 8 Assistant Engineer (Development Control) (£36,363 to £40,777) Pay award pending. Full Time / Permanent. Main Office base:- Highways Depot, Widow Hill Road, Burnley (Flexible Working Available). International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship. About Us: Encompassing 12 district authority areas Lancashire County Council is the fourth largest local authority in England. Acting as both the Local Highway and Traffic Authority the County Council's Highways Service is responsible for maintaining the safe and effective use of its highway network. As part of that role the Highway Service examines in excess of 5000 planning applications annually.
