Job description

We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Technician to be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with the day-to-day tasks of the quality program in the plant. The primary responsibility is to assure final products meet the company’s quality standards and adhere to customer specifications. Wage: $25 - 28/hr, DOE: Essential Duties and Tasks: - Manage, develop, and mentor QA Techs to operate proactively. - Ensure QA Techs perform audits, review retains, collect data, and communicate professionally. - Build analytical and investigative skills within the QA team. - Foster a culture of ownership, proactivity, and professional communication. - Oversee operational SQF compliance, including audits, process adherence, and documentation. - Identify gaps and escalate trends or issues to the Quality Manager. - Serve as SQF-certified backup for the Quality Manager. - Accurately enter quality complaints into the system. - Gather all required information and documentation for investigations. - Prepare cases for Quality Manager review, approval, or escalation. - Lead operational aspects of investigations, including fact collection and coordination with department managers. - En...
