Purpose The Supply Chain Buyer II has the primary responsibility of ensuring material, product and the availability of outside services to support the production schedule, while also supporting the Cox Machine Quality Management System. Experience and Skills: - At least 1 year of buying or purchasing experience preferred. - Familiarity with supply chain processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) - Strong communication and teamwork skills Position Responsibilities: - Purchases supplies, materials, outside services and parts for the company. - Ensures compliance with related policies and contract processes and standards. - Works closely with functional, operational, and suppliers to facilitate accurate and complete material and service requirements to achieve best available cost, quality, reliability, continuity, and delivery.
