POSITION SUMMARY: To provide Pharmacy Technicians registered as Pharmacy Technician Interns with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), the opportunity to develop their competence and demonstrate their preparedness to practice as Pharmacy Technicians while undertaking the licensing process with OCP. The Pharmacy Technician Intern will work under the supervision of and with delegation from a registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist. Pharmacy Technician Interns must complete the licensing process and become fully registered/licensed Pharmacy Technicians in Ontario within the timeframe indicated. QUALIFICATIONS: •Minimum 2-year Community College Diploma Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program recognized by the CCAPP. •Registered as a Pharmacy Technician Intern with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, in active pursuit of becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician in Ontario required •Demonstrates strong customer service skills and works collaboratively with others •Excellent oral and written communication skills •Able to work in a group setting as well as independently •Capable of taking direction and accepting constructive feedback •Displays professionalism at all...
