Description Summary/Objective: The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the building’s infrastructure and respond to Maintenance Requests within a specialized function. This position follows strict policies and procedures. Essential Functions: · Performs a specialized function within the Facilities and Maintenance team including but not limited to painting, pest control, HVAC, grounds keeping, etc. · Complete Maintenance Requests within specialized area in a timely manner following SHO policies and procedures · Performs work assignments around the community and maintain community grounds and projects dictated to or as assigned · May assist in maintaining maintenance parts and supplies inventory · Keep maintenance areas in an organized and clean manner · Follow fire and safety procedures · Follow established infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures · Be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals stored and used at the facility · Maintain records through unit files and property management files as directed by the property manager/Administrator · Report any accidents/incidents or hazards to supervisor or manager regardless o...
