Job DetailsJob Location: Norfolk - Norfolk, VA 23551Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $25.63 HourlyPart Time LTC Ombudsman – Serving the cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Franklin, Suffolk, & Portsmouth and the counties of Southampton County and Isle of Wight. LTC Ombudsman will work to promote and protect the rights, dignity, safety, and quality of life of residents in long- term care facilities. Assists in receiving, investigating, and resolving complaints in these facilities and advocating for the rights of the residents. Provides information about the ombudsman program to residents, family members, and the community at large. Maintains records and submits reports. The position of LTC Ombudsman reports to the VP of Advocacy Resources. This position is Part Time and is based out of the counties of Southampton County and Isle of Wight and the cities of Franklin, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, & Norfolk.
