About the Role Join the Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council as a Grounds Person and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our community spaces. You’ll contribute to the wellbeing of the Kowanyama community by ensuring our grounds and facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain Council and stakeholder properties, including mowing, pruning, planting, watering, and pest control. - Remove litter and rubbish, manage site housekeeping, and report maintenance needs. - Maintain vehicles and equipment to a safe and tidy standard. - Operate Council vehicles and equipment as required. - Support the team with other duties as allocated by your supervisor.
