This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Geologist for our Canton, MS office In this role you will be a part of the Site Investigation & Remediation business unit, supporting environmental projects that involve field studies, report preparation, budget management, and interaction with coworkers, clients, subcontractors, and regulators. Projects will include groundwater, surface water, soil, and air sampling; environmental site assessments; regulatory permitting; subsurface site characterizations involving drilling, and soil classification; and hazardous waste site characterization and remediation. Your Impact: - Under general supervision, conduct routine field work including drilling oversight, geologic logging, well installation, sampling of various media, hydrogeologic testing and other assignments as designated. - Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements. - Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and field/work site notebook. - Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, reports, models, cross-sections, boring logs, and figures for the interpretation an...
