WHAT WE DO: We are a tech company that performs automated, advanced analytics on data from big yellow trucks. We apply advanced engineering science and mathematics to operational data that we collect with our hardware to provide insights into the performance of their mining equipment. Our aim is to minimise waste by optimising performance. Less waste, more haste! WHAT THE ROLE IS: We need people to help generate truth datasets by interpreting operational data so that our algorithms work better. You will learn how mine sites operate and be able to explain what is happening based on multiple high-rate data sources. These truth sets are used to determine the accuracy of our automated classifications. This role is a great precursor to becoming a data and algorithm engineer within our team. We’re looking for roughly 1 day a week, paid casual work and are flexible to have more hours during semester breaks.
