Candidate will need to be qualified in installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment. Introduction: Black Box Network Services, the global leader in communication system integration, is looking for a Network Infrastructure Technician with a proven track record in: - Working in a structured cabling environment. - Installing single and multi-mode optical cabling. - Inspecting and cleaning installed optical cabling. - Installing copper cable to IEEE and BICSI cabling standards. - Testing installed cables using a Fluke Versiv Mainframe. - Decommissioning obsolete networking cabling infrastructure. - Working with elevated and underfloor cabling trays. - Assist in troubleshooting network equipment and cabling. - This position will support facilities management, site security and project engagement with a commitment and desire to satisfy our customer by completing all work at the highest level, always striving for perfection. The candidate must be motivated and self-driven for success.
