Job description
Overview: The EHS Technician will be responsible for assisting with implementation of company’s environmental, health, and safety programs and will perform environmental, health, and safety reviews in various areas of the site to ensure compliance with company and government regulated standards. This individual will represent the EHS team in the field by building rapport and will be an engaged resource to help assist in the prevention of any environmental, occupational injury/illness related losses. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Required knowledge/skills/abilities - Coordinate waste and wastewater management - Support LDAR Program - Conduct routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and practices. - Communicate issues, opportunities for improvement, and positive findings to operations and leadership. - Conduct daily field permit audits for work being performed. - Review and communicate discrepancies associated with the site Notice of Registration. - Maintain all relevant records and documentation for environmental and safety compliance demonstration (inspections, audits, corrective a...
