LOCATION: Benevolence Care Centre, 9810 165 St NW, Edmonton AB JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse - This is a unionized AUPE position. HOURS: CASUAL (24 hour Home) REPORTS TO: Care Manager JOB SUMMARY: The Licensed Practical Nurse is an integrated member of the interdisciplinary care team and is responsible for providing direct Resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), the Continuing Competency Program (CCP), and as noted in the Collaborative Care Model. The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care and adheres to the Park Place Seniors Living Policy and Procedure Manual. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions independently and works under the guidance of the Resident Care Manager to further provide leadership, support and direction to Health Care Aides on an ongoing basis. Responsible for current and valid registration.
