IS Testing Intern

Job description

I nternship: May–August (full-time), with the potential to transition to part-time during the fall semester. The IS Testing Intern will be responsible for reading technical software specifications and executing manual test cases for web-based software as well as documenting results/evidence of testing. The position will be embedded in the manufacturing software development team and will have close collaboration with teammates. Primary Duties: - Read and understand software specifications and execute test cases against those specifications. - Record the results of test cases and provide detailed feedback to the development team. - Use supported products during development for the purpose of discovering defects. - Ensure, whenever possible, that software defects that are discovered can be reproduced. - Complete projects on time with supervision from the senior testers on the team. - Continually update technical knowledge and skills. - Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards. - Perform other duties as assigned.
