Description Growing Independent Building Material and Design Company Zuern Building Products & Design Center is actively seeking a full time Residential Estimator. Zuern Building Products & Design Center is a family-owned and operated building material supplier and design company. Job Summary: Prepares highly accurate estimates and material lists based on construction blueprints and specifications in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list is not all-inclusive and may be expanded as management deems necessary. - Create highly accurate material takeoffs on various plans (new construction, remodels, additions) through our in-house estimating software - Size joists, beams, and headers using manufacturer software - Work closely with Estimating team members - Collaborate with Account Managers and Coordinators to ensure takeoffs align with project requirements - Willingness to listen carefully and comprehend instructions and feedback Requirements: Required Qualifications: - General working knowledge of the residential...
