This position is ECB status – requires a minimum number of worked hours per month as needed by the department; limited benefit offerings. Variable: ECB: Work shift: variable; work schedule: variable, including weekends Job Summary: Working under direct and close supervision, provides direct patient care, assists with daily living, and a variety of social skills to assigned behavioral health patients' needs. Shadows more seasoned staff for on-the-job-training as needed. Closely monitored by senior staff on more complex cases, as needed. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: None. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Able to remain calm under pressure. Able to follow all safety guidelines and protocols. Able and willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
