Wafer Test and Characterization Technician (2nd Shift)

Job Summary The Wafer Test and Characterization Technician works with a team of engineers and technicians to sustain epitaxial wafer test and characterization processes for all production. This role will operate semiconductor characterization and testing equipment for evaluating the quality of epitaxial wafers. Duties & Responsibilities: Follow instructions from shift Supervisor;: Test & characterize wafers according to detailed wafer documentation specific to each part. Set up, operate, and perform calibration procedures on test equipment; Work closely with a team of Engineers Perform data collection: Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience - Summarize and communicate findings accurately to engineering team and management - Write work instruction in support of ISO activity - Perform routine maintenance of test equipment - Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: 1-3 years experience in Semiconductor wafer testing or related field Experience with all or some of the measurement techniques listed in the job summary Experienced in SPC techniques: Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions Able to use computers efficiently: Well organiz...
