B-Plate Bonder - 2nd Shift

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the B-Plate Bonder is key in assisting with meeting the department’s goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required. Responsibilities: The B-Plate Bonder is responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coals to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width of the material with measuring devices. Set up the designated B-Plate Mill by interpreting process sheets, setting machine parameters, and using lubrication. Adjust and correct machine set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects. Examine, inspect, and measure raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications. Read production orders, blueprints, and mill schedule to determine setup specifications, work sequences, product dimensions, and installation procedures. Control and observe dial indicators in order to monitor, adjust and regulate speeds of machine mechanisms. Collaborate with Scheduling & Maintenance departments...
