As a Therapist, Mental Health and Addiction, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. You will be providing consultations services to Guelph General Hospital, as well as, provide addiction counselling and service navigation to patients in the emergency department and medical units of the Guelph General Hospital. The overarching goal of the Therapist, Mental Health and Addiction, is to provide appropriate, empathetic, non-judgmental and respectful care urgently to individuals identifying any sort of problematic substance use while ultimately helping the client to increase their quality of life and decrease the time spent in crisis and in hospital.
