The Physician Assistant II position for the Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Consult Service is a position working with cardiac surgeons, internal medical staff, and consulting teams within MGB and across referring practices. Job Summary: The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider. Under general supervision and direction of the Cardiac Surgeons, and in accordance with the rules and regulations of Massachusetts governing PA practice, the PA will be responsible for the care of patients on the Cardiac Surgical Service, primarily patients that are admitted to the Cardiac Surgery Service and those consulted to the Cardiac Surgery Service.
