Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Security Officer - 2nd Shift is responsible for the protection of Materion assets, which include people, property and information. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting Answer alarms and investigate disturbances: Utilize the company’s visitor policies to issue visitor passes and make sure that each guest is accompanied by an employee before entering the facility Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, health and safety issues observed, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
