Description Overview : Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing a comprehensive ESE program. The ESE Teacher reports to the Special Programs Coordinator or ESE Director. Employment Schedule : 10 months, full-time Duties and Responsibilities: Essential functions of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following: Full-time Classroom Teachers are eligible for the following benefits and compensation: - Understands how students learn and provides learning opportunities that support intellectual, social, and personal development of diverse learners - Evaluates student progress and uses formal and informal assessment strategies to determine whether students have achieved high standards and modifies instructional strategies as needed to maximize achievement. - Ensure compliance with District requirements. - Assist in preparing reports to document progress and effectiveness of services. - Assist in identifying compliance concerns and reporting them to the ESE Coordinator - Utilize the electronic management system to update IEP documents. - Provides teachers, students and parents with timely data for improvement in student achievement. - Identify student issue...
