Job description
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Applications, the Clinical Applications Analyst for Health Information Management & Identity Modules performs a variety of duties related to the implementation, development, and day-to-day support of Health Information System (HIS) application(s) and custom computer applications. This includes responsibility for the efficient design, build, testing and maintenance of HIS application(s). The Clinical Application Analyst liaises with end users and consults Informatics Specialists and Senior Clinical Application Analysts to analyze requirements, identify and investigate potential solutions, assess feasibility of solutions considering available technology, budget and end user requirements and recommend solutions. The Clinical Application Analyst will learn and support assigned HIS application(s), make recommendations for future enhancements and investigate/correct problems to optimize application use and improve business processes.
