Job description

This position works in the Department of Urology. Its primary purpose is to treat patients both independently and as a team member with our Faculty. There are two primary practice locations: the USF South Tampa Center (STC) located across from TGH, and the USF Morsani Center (located on the USF campus). This position is to directly support the Recon Division of USF Urology. Clinical - Provide outpatient clinic care including evaluation of new patients, established patients and post op care. Obtain History and Physical Examination, order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic test/procedures in coordination with Faculty supervising physician. Manage medical problems; initiate, monitor and alter therapies; order diagnostic tests and prescribe therapeutic medications in coordination with Faculty supervising physician, fellows, residents. Regularly confer with faculty physicians regarding diagnosis, treatment, best forms of therapy, and alert physicians to abnormal findings. Return patient phone calls, respond to EPIC tasks and messages, renew prescriptions, coordinate rehabilitative therapy and assess post-procedure problems.
