Climate Portfolio Manager

Job description

The Climate Finance Portfolio Manager is responsible for the ongoing management of an assigned portfolio of commercial solar, battery storage, energy efficiency, and other climate-related project finance credit, in collaboration with the Climate Lending Team. This role focuses on credit execution, monitoring and analysis to ensure portfolio performance, policy compliance and timely risk identification. Portfolio management responsibilities include reviewing project performance and status reports, analyzing financial statements, monitoring covenant compliance, coordinating receipt of borrower reporting, supporting loan modifications and renewals, and preparing credit recommendations in accordance with Bank policy. The role works closely with relationship managers, underwriters, borrowers, internal partners and external parties (including counsel, servicers, and third-party consultants) to ensure effective loan administration. The position requires strong analytical skills, sound credit judgement, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
