Overview Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Dartmouth Health's Department of Psychiatry seeks a child and adolescent Psychiatrist as part of the treatment team for a new adolescent inpatient psychiatry unit at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, located in Bennington, VT. In this role, you will provide state-of-the-art acute psychiatric and substance related disorder care for adolescents aged 12-17. The inpatient unit will include an experienced team of psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers to deliver high-quality care. This position is scheduled as a hospitalist model with some night and weekend coverage included in the basic schedule as well as generous vacation and conference time allowances. The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician with strong interest in working in an inpatient setting. Candidates should be board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry.
