Job Title: Command Exercise Engineer Job Category: Intelligence: Time Type: Full time: Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular: Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 50% Type of Travel: Local: - * * The Opportunity: Provide support to the SOCSOUTH Command Engineer at Homestead Air Reserve Base, FL and at designated CONUS and OCONUS locations. Assist the Command with the planning, evaluation, documentation, property accountability, survey, and review of engineering and construction projects and other efforts to ensure there are adequate facilities and property to support exercises and deployments to CONUS and OCONUS locations. ​ Responsibilities: Plan and conduct exercise-related field surveys to review current sites and locate proposed sites; analyze proposed site factors; design maps, graphs, reports and diagrams to illustrate findings; provide recommendations to how to best support SOCSOUTH exercise programs with adequate facilities and conditions. ​ Create and provide housing site surveys/reports on current conditions that address needs for corrections or construction to support deployed unit requirements. ​ Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations...
