Job Summary: A Host, or Cashier, is responsible for welcoming customers to a food service environment and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service, passing out menus and accepting phone calls. Responsibilities: - Welcoming guests to the venue - Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list as necessary. - Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions. - Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas. - Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers. -...
