Overview CVP is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team in providing high-quality emergency care to our Nation's Veterans at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. This position involves working in the Emergency Department, delivering critical care to Veterans with acute medical conditions. We have full-time, part-time and PRN contract positions available. Responsibilities: Utilize broad-based clinical knowledge to effectively assess, implement health promotion and prevention interventions, and manage acute illnesses and injuries in an emergency setting Perform rapid patient assessments and triage to prioritize care based on acuity levels Initiate appropriate emergency interventions, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols Monitor and identify changes in patient status, rapidly responding to life-threatening situations Provide patient-centered care by developing care plans and responding to significant changes in patient health conditions Document patient assessments and plans of care in the electronic medical record using designated templates within required timeframes Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining 100% accuracy wi...
