Product Design Principal Scientist YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Product Design Principal Scientist is a key influencer of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for leveraging genomic, phenomic, and environmental data to design improved germplasms. They are expected to lead the delivery of enhanced seed products, data insights, and prescriptions to the Product Development pipeline through utilization of accelerated breeding schemes and innovations in genomics, quantitative genetics, computational biology, and functional genomics. The primary responsibilities of this role, Product Design Principal Scientist, are to: - Provide leadership to coordinate the technical strategy for designing improved germplasm cohorts; - Leverage model outputs to achieve measurable improvement of quantitative traits under selection; - Function as a key stakeholder to drive strong collaborative relationships with various teams to deliver a robust product pipeline; - Ensure meaningful knowledge and data transfer during transition points per crop cycle timelines; - Proactively identify key areas of opportunity for new technology implementation and process improvement; - Integrate and lead projects/in...
