The Senior Right‑of‑Way Activity Technologist plays a vital role in maintaining safe and efficient roadways by leading the Right‑of‑Way Construction Activity Permit (ROWCAP) program. This position is responsible for reviewing and approving Temporary Traffic Control Plans, coordinating work zones and special roadway events, and maintaining accurate GIS data. Through field reviews, oversight of open‑cut right‑of‑way activities, and collaboration with contractors, internal partners, and residents, this role helps protect public safety and preserve infrastructure—particularly in complex traffic, weather, and visibility conditions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Right‑of‑Way Construction Activity Permit (ROWCAP) program, reviewing, revising, and approving permit applications to support safe and efficient traffic operations. - Review and assess Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCPs) to ensure compliance with County bylaws, provincial legislation, and national traffic control standards. - Coordinate and manage work zone planning and conflict resolution, ensuring proposed activities align with existing permits, County projects, and special roadway events. - Oversee quality assurance on...
