About Us GOAL has responded to the world’s major humanitarian crises since its founding in 1977, working with vulnerable communities in 14 countries across the globe with a dedicated team of personnel. While GOAL continues to be an agile first-responder to humanitarian crises, it is also committed to working with vulnerable communities to help them survive crises and support them on the road to recovery. Job Purpose: The Community Fundraising & Events Manager leads the growth and delivery of GOAL’s community fundraising portfolio, including flagship campaigns GOAL Mile and Jersey Day. The role combines strategic campaign leadership with hands‑on community engagement, ensuring strong supporter stewardship, high‑quality events, and year‑on‑year income growth. **Please note this role is a maternity leave contract until June 2027 - role is based in our HQ office in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin with 2 days in office attendance per week ** Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Campaign Leadership: - Develop and deliver GOAL’s community fundraising and events strategy. - Lead long‑term growth of GOAL Mile and Jersey Day. - Identify opportunities to maximise income and test new fundraising approach...
