The primary role of the Manufacturing and Production Manager is plan, organize and control production at the Univar manufacturing facilities to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations and that all products are produced efficiently, on time, and within specification. The position requires ownership of production, scheduling, safety, quality assurance, selection and development of staff, and continuous improvement activities at the facility. Responsible for meeting or exceeding customer expectations while obtaining financial goals. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsible for overall safe, efficient, legal and economical operation of all production, warehouse, repack, bulk handling, laboratory and shipping/receiving activities at the facilities.
