Supervisor Renewable Maintenance

Job description

Job Summary Direct and manage renewable facility maintenance and on-site operations activities in order to optimize availability, reliability, and generation output across various types of renewable or storage technologies including but not limited to: solar photovoltaic generation, wind generation, hydroelectric generation, and bulk energy storage systems. This role oversees safety, front line workers, contractors, compliance, and cost for direct site activities. Essential Functions: Supervise a team of union front line workers performing preventative and corrective maintenance on plant systems and equipment. Ensures all OHSA, NERC, NFPA, federal, state, and other applicable codes and regulations are followed during the design, construction, repair, and operation of equipment. Maintain a safe work environment across all sites by enforcing company safety standard and any contractor safety programs. Conduct pre-job safety briefs for all assigned work. Inform employees of safety rules and regulations and consistently enforce them. Verify all work performed is done in compliance with environmental permits and procedures.
