Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: Department - Emergency Department Night Shift: Position Summary: Provides consistent leadership of nursing personnel and supports patient focused collaborative care in a shared governance environment. Responsible for coordinating, facilitating and integrating the optimal provision of service on each unit. In conjunction with this, other responsibilities include providing clinical expertise coaching/mentoring of staff and customer service. Assumes responsibility for the nursing units when Clinical Managers are not present. What the ED Supervisor will need: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. - RN Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. - Two years' experience as RN Staff Nurse with demonstrated leadership required, preferably work experience concurrently in appropriate specialty area. - Ability to meet all behaviors of the RN Staff Nurse Job description. - Ongoing continuing education required with national certification preferred. - BLS certification and required CEUs for re- licensure.
