Job description
The Service & Team: The suitable candidate will deliver targeted support to settings, schools and families, by introducing a range of personalised interventions and strategies. These strategies predominantly support PSED, inclusive environments and attachment. Each strategy will be tailored to meet the needs of individual children. You will work with children identified through the Early Years Service referral process; and as agreed by the appropriate line manager, usually the senior SENDCo holding the individual child’s case. In addition to this, the role involves attending TAC meetings, visiting children in settings, supporting transitions, delivering training, supporting with the completion of the neurodevelopment profile, supporting SENDCo’s with their paperwork, support where there has been a bereavement and signposting to wider services. Multiagency working is an important part of the role, and often the strategies and advice are set alongside a speech and language therapist.
