Summary/Objective: The purpose of the planning intern position is to provide the student with work experience outside of the classroom. Experience includes research, analysis and presentation of data; creation of maps in ArcGIS Pro; development and zoning administrative tasks; and exposure to land use and policy planning. Essential Functions: - Perform research, synthesis data, and create charts, tables, graphs, reports, memos, etc. to present to the Senior Planner and department management. - Work in ArcGIS Pro to generate maps per project assignments and department management requests. - Draft minutes of the Planning Board, Historic Resources Board, and/or Board of Zoning Appeals. - Attend administrative and committee meetings. - Perf...
