Job description

SMX is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to support our customer onsite at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in southern Maryland. This individual will bring a passion for technology, a strong technical skill set, and an ability to deploy Production-ready solutions, software and tools for our Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The Cloud Engineer is a very hands-on individual and will help lead engagements for our customers. Ideal candidates have consulting-relevant experience including: conducting structured quantitative and qualitative analysis, developing cloud strategies, project management, and consultative, collaborative problem-solving. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Assist team members in the development and deployment of environments for our customers - Be involved at all stages of a project including: - Requirements capture and assessment - Cloud services deployment - Security and compliance - Systems engineering and operational readiness - Apply a business and technology-focused model for delivering IT services in a utility-like fashion Required Skills & Experience: - Clearance Required: Top Secret - Security+ or another comparable certification for complianc...
