POSITION TITLE: Outdoor Parks Worker DIVISION: Parks and Natural Resources: REPORTS TO: Park Operations Manager: FLSA STATUS: Part-Time, Non-exempt, Starting at $14.00 per hour SHIFT RANGES: 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday - Sunday Purpose of Position: The purpose of this part-time, year-round position is to perform custodial functions and light maintenance of multiple parks and greenways. This position reports to the Park Operations Manager for daily tasks and assignments. This position averages up to 28 hours per week with flexible days and times. Essential Job Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. - Assist Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) in maintaining clean and beautiful parks and greenways - Perform routine cleaning and restocking of restroom facilities - Including spraying cleaners, scrubbing, and wiping down fixtures, sweeping, mopping, eliminating nests, spider webs and dust - Monitor for proper function of lights, locks, doors, sinks and toilets - Empty, restock, and clean trash cans, recycling cans, and pet waste stations - Monitor recreationa...
