For over 125 years, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has been providing quality social services to the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens and currently offers 160-plus programs and services for children, youth, adults, seniors, and those struggling with mental illness. Older Adult Centers promote an active life of seniors. The centers aim to assist them to preserve their independence and health by offering various range of activities and services such as serving breakfast, lunch, health screenings, social services, educational workshops, class exercises, discussion groups, games, art classes, lectures, workshops, organized outings, and special events. STATEMENT OF THE JOB: The Program Manager is responsible for day-to-day administration and operation of the Older Adult Center ensuring a welcoming, supportive environment, quality services, and adherence to budget while meeting all contractual obligations. Program Manager is to establish strong liaisons with local health providers, NORC and other community organizations in order to ensure continuity of care and implementation of strategy for “aging in place” for seniors of the center.
