Summary: Responsible for container reconditioning, minor vehicle maintenance, building maintenance, grounds upkeep, litter control, shuttling vehicles to and from the garage; assisting recycling attendant, and acts as relief equipment operator Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Reconditions and steam cleans containers, prepares for repainting, repairs, assembles containers to include minor welding on metal containers - Operates vehicle to deliver and pick up containers, levels containers in alley, sprays containers for odor control - Cleans and removes debris from alleys, spreads sand on hydraulic oil spills on streets - Performs minor building maintenance to include replacement of light bulbs and florescent tubes, clean light fixtures - Performs housekeeping to include sweep, mop, dust, clean restrooms, replenish bathroom supplies, clean tables, desks, chairs and windows - Assists in vehicle repair and maintenance (mud flaps, light bulbs, grease fittings, check fluids, etc.) shuttles vehicles to/from Fleet Services - Separates recyclables, manages white paper route during Recycling Attendant's absence, relieves Recycling Atte...
