Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist JOB SUMMARY: Functions as a working shift resource to provide direct oversight, assistance, support and problem resolution to Respiratory Staff and may be scheduled for regular staff assignment as needed or requested. This includes organization of assignments and coverage of workloads. Department: Respiratory Therapy: Schedule: Full Time, 36 Hour Rotating Day/ Night ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: - Responsible for all essential functions listed for the Registered Respiratory Therapist. - Possess, maintain and deliver high clinical standards in the assessment, administration, education, and observation of respiratory therapy as ordered by Licensed Independent Practitioners. - Provide direct oversight, assistance, support, and problem resolution to respiratory staff in all aspects of respiratory care, including organization, assignment, and coverage of workloads. - Responsible for resolving call offs while on site and making appropriate actions to assure adequate staffing levels for the following shift.
